Coralie Gauthier is a harpist, composer, and cultural worker based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. Driven by the idea of giving a different voice to her instrument, she finds happiness in hijacking the harp with a lot of electronic effects. Her eclectic background—spanning classical music, jazz, electroacoustics, improvisation, and composition—has led her to create and collaborate on a wide range of projects: Sauf les drones (instrumental post-rock), Echönymphia (ambient, dreamlike, shimmering), Luminescent (harp & handpan), Murmurations (harp and electronics duo, experimental/contemporary classical), as well as her solo project Minkworks.

Deeply aware of the challenges artists face in sustaining a career, she brings this lived experience to her role as Artist and Development Manager at Envision. With a sensitive, insightful and artist-focused approach, she seeks to support a progressive and sustainable future for the arts.
