ENVISION’S RYHNA THOMPSON JOINING CANADA’S LARGEST EVER TRADE MISSION TO MEXICO

We’re proud to share that Ryhna Thompson, Founder and President of Envision Management & Production, has been selected to represent Canada as part of the largest Team Canada Trade Mission ever assembled, taking place in Mexico from February 15–20, 2026.

Ryhna joins the delegation within the Creative Industries stream, representing Envision’s work across artist management, creative production, and recorded music. For over two decades, Envision has supported boundary-breaking musical and multidisciplinary artists as their work moves across borders, often at the intersection of music, film, animation, theatre, literature, and technology. This invitation reflects Envision’s long-standing engagement with international collaboration and the development of ambitious projects designed to travel, adapt, and connect with audiences across the world.

As part of the mission, Ryhna will take part in programming centered in Mexico City and Guadalajara, engaging with Canadian and Mexican cultural leaders, producers, presenters, and institutions working across music, live performance, audiovisual creation, and interdisciplinary practice. The program brings together a carefully assembled mix of organizations and decision-makers focused on building lasting creative partnerships and new pathways for collaboration between the two countries.

For Envision, participating in this historic delegation reflects years of working across borders to support artists as their work develops, travels, and finds new contexts. It is an opportunity to deepen relationships in Mexico while contributing to broader conversations about how creative work circulates globally, how artists are supported across territories, and how cultural exchange can be built with intention, integrity, and imagination.
