Mar is an artist manager, booking agent and radio host. She manages Partner, Kali Horse, Tallies and Poolblood. Originally from Vancouver, Mar lived in London UK for 8 years where she played in various bands (toured Germany 7 times!) and worked for BBC radio. She has toured in numerous Canadian and UK bands, been a CBC radio personality, worked as a European booking agent, music publicist and now runs her own MGMT company and after 9 years in Toronto, has relocated back to Vancouver. She's written about music for many publications and web sites in the UK and Canada (Clash, TLOBF, Exclaim, NOW). She loves radio and hosts a weekly new music show on CHUO 89.1FM & CHMA 106.9FM in Canada. Mar also recently joined Atomic Music Group as USA/Canada booking agent and now she joins the Envision Records team to help with the label side of things. Mar champions indie artists above all else.
